Zach Calluori was born in Nutley, NJ in 1995. He started playing guitar at the age of 8. He went on to study guitar with Dave Stryker (student of 5 years), Stephane Wrembel, and Ron Jackson.

In 2013 Zach was accepted to Columbia University and became involved in many facets of the music scene – The Louis Armstrong Performance Program, WKCR-FM radio, the music publication Rare Candy, CU Raaga Indian Fusion Music Group, the annual Varsity Show, and countless bands.

As part of the Music Performance Program, Zach studied guitar and composition with Paul Bollenback for all four years. He also worked closely with film composer and fellow Columbia music major Sara Barone on a variety of projects.

After graduating in 2017 he got deeper into the New York music scene, performing and touring with bands such as Drug Bug and Quinn Devlin & The Bridge Street Kings and pop singers including BABY YORS and Anna Shoemaker.

His work has led him to venues such as Roughtrade NYC, The Foundry at The Fillmore Philadelphia, Symphony Space, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Mercury Lounge, The Knitting Factory, The Bitter End, Rockwood Music Hall, Baby’s All Right, and Miller Theatre at Columbia University.

He also collaborated with Sara Barone on the scores for films such as American Made (2018) and On The Clock (2018) and contributed guitar performance to a number of others. Zach continues to perform around the city and is currently working on a number of recording projects.
